Charlotte & Ruby are 26 weeks old today. They had their 6 month check up at the pediatrician yesterday. Charlotte weighs 17lbs 12oz and is 25 1/2" long. Ruby weighs 17lbs 5oz and is 26" long. The doctor is very impressed by their size, saying that we "definitely are not starving them". Both girls are on track developmentally, aside from Charlotte's lack of interest in rolling over (but there is not any concern over it, since she is capable). No signs of any teeth yet for either of them, but it is not for lack of drooling. We started them on baby cereal over the weekend. Charlotte takes a few bites reluctantly before getting enthusiastic about finishing the rest. Ruby eats it all without a problem, but never looks like she is actually enjoying it. We introduced them to cups at the same time. Charlotte can drink the water easily, but does not hold the cup correctly to drink on her own. Ruby can hold the cup and get it into her mouth properly, but bites the spout instead of drinking. Enjoy plenty of photos and 2 videos below!
