1 Year, 6 Months, and 2 Weeks

Charlotte & Ruby are 1 year, 6 months, and 2 weeks old today. Certain words they say have become much clearer in the past few days (apple, down, book, etc.), so people other than Bob & I should easily understand those now. The weather has warmed up enough for us to take almost daily afternoon walks. They both like to point out passing airplanes, cars, birds, dogs, say "Hi!" loudly & repeatedly near other people, and love the school bus that comes through our neighborhood (the driver now waves at them). Enjoy the photos!

Reading & using the Hugga Pillows Grandma Doreen sent:

Wearing scarves & looking at books together:

Bouncing on the Rody Horses (some of you may have seen the video of this in action by now):

Looking at the first ground squirrel to appear this spring (I pour birdseed under the stumpy trees just outside our house):

Looking & saying "honk" at the Canadian geese that also come by to eat birdseed:

Charlotte likes to lay on pillows now while she reads:

Ruby's face met a wall during a fall and her cheek was bruised:

Studying the new Look & Find books (they sort of understand the concept):

Ruby fell & started to cry so Charlotte went over and patted her on the head (which was sweet, but then she started to poke at her and laugh):
