Charlotte & Ruby are 1 year, 10 months, 1 week, and 4 days old today. Charlotte is quite fond of undressing and re-dressing herself, even if she does not always put the clothes back on correctly. While she is not a fan of singing, she did belt out "La la la la, Elmo's song." after watching a Sesame Street song collection DVD. Ruby is expanding her song repertoire quickly, once she hears you sing one, she begins memorizing it to sing her version later. Her current favorites are "London Bridge is Falling Down", "Wheels on the Bus", "Ladybug Picnic", "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and the "A, B, C's". They both love their Magna Doodles (magnetic drawing boards). Charlotte wants us to draw things on hers so she can guess what they are, while Ruby is content to draw intricate lines, dots, & swirls all over hers. They both like having their hands traced. Enjoy the photos!
Recovering from being tickled on our bed:

They preferred sitting in the pool to play over running through the sprinklers:

Charlotte studies the books intensely:

Ruby still loves to stack the boxes:

They went on the big kid slides at one of the zoo playgrounds and loved them:

Zoo benches are still an attraction:

Charlotte discovered the joys of sitting in the ottoman:

Now they both spend a lot of their play time in it:

Looking at all the wildflowers outside our home:

Holding hands as they walk back to the porch:

Ruby fell down the last 2 stairs by the front door; she bruised her forehead and chipped her tooth:
