Family Times

Just when you think that the girls could not possibly get any more adorable, they do. Charlotte has outgrown newborn size clothing and diapers this week, and Ruby is not far behind. They are gaining more head control and having longer awake periods each day. I realized that there were very few photos with me and the girls, since I am behind the camera so often. We made an effort to include me in the photos as well this time.

I was able to wear my pre-pregnancy shoes today - this made me very happy:

Maybe it's just the pictures, but do the girls face each other a lot when they're going to sleep? Do they like to stare at each other? It's the cutest thing in the pictures.

not yet. the direction they face right now is fairly random. they aren't yet aware of each other. many are the occasions when one is screaming her head off right in her sister's face, while the other peacefully slumbers blissfully unaware, or perhaps merely unperturbed by the wailing. i have noticed that they are starting to actually look at me more. until now it's just been the vague, i'm looking in that general direction and there seems to be a large blob there as well. now, it seems they are really focusing on my face and looking around at my different face bits.
