Charlotte & Ruby are 1 year, 2 months, and 1 day old today. Charlotte got sick for the very first time last Tuesday, and still has a lingering cough. Ruby has managed to avoid it so far, despite sharing many spit-covered toys with Charlotte. Charlotte is attempting to stand on her own (she is steady for a few seconds) and try to walk, but has not succeeded yet. Ruby decided to start saying "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle" very clearly a few days ago (their favorite song from the library story time we take them to involves wiggling hands & feet). Enjoy the few photos I managed to take in the past week, since I was more focused on comforting a sick child instead.

Oh, sick kids are a great heartache for parents, you'll end up really appreciating when everyone is healthy and life becomes boring again.
Boring means calm, no one is sick or needs stitches-- and that is always good.
I'm sorry to hear about you three being sick. Knock on wood that Ruby avoids it. Get well soon, healthy thoughts your way.
