1 Year, 8 Months, and 2 Days

Charlotte & Ruby are 1 year, 8 months, and 2 days old today. We went to a picnic on Sunday that celebrated the doctor & staff that helped create Charlotte & Ruby. Charlotte has discovered running, and it makes her giggle while she does it. Ruby likes to say "Where did Ruby go?" while covering her eyes with her hands, and then says "There you are!" when she takes her hands away (she repeats what we say instead of "Here I am!"). They love to draw with crayons, and ask to do it repeatedly throughout the day ("Draw? Draw? Drawdrawdraw?") Enjoy the photos!

The first 5 photos are from the picnic at Blackberry Farm.
With Dr. Binor (many, many thanks to him and medical science for Charlotte & Ruby's existence):

Talking with Dr. Binor:

Watching the tractor before it leaves on another hay wagon ride:

Exploring the park area at the picnic:

Ruby was very excited to have found such a big stick, she carried it about until it was time to get back in the stroller:

Charlotte loves to play with the bibs that Grandma Sueli made:

Watching one of the gardeners dig around a tree:

Improving their utensil skills (they actually get food in their mouths now):

Drawing with crayons:

Grandma Doreen sent a Clifford (the Big Red Dog) book and they like it so much that I had to buy more from the series:

Charlotte is a bit confused as to how lipstick should be applied:

Ruby got her 1st haircut to even out all the curls on Sunday morning (she sat quietly until the end, when the stylist turned on the hair dryer to blow the clippings away, causing Ruby to cry a little):

Great pictures from the week! I love that the girls are drawing now, that's awesome. Hudson likes to color too but he ends of up the crayons. I've discovered that with boys, everything and anything goes in their mouth, yuck! And YAY for Dr. Binor, thank goodness for him!
