Charlotte & Ruby are 2 years, 2 months, and 1 week old today. They like to make sure anything, be it a cup or toy, that tips over or falls down is quickly asked "Are you okay?" and comforted with a hug. We've started introducing the idea of Christmas and the character of Santa Claus in preparation for the holidays this year, now that they will be aware of everything and play an active role. Because of that, Charlotte now says "Merry Christmas" randomly in conversations. Thanks to a Sesame Street song from 1969, Ruby can count backwards from 10 correctly. Enjoy the photos!
A couple of Charlotte's outtakes from the 26 month old photos:
In one of Ruby's outtakes you can see that she still impersonates Mick Jagger on occasion:

Ruby will spend much of her play time happily moving the magnetic letters from one door of the refrigerator to the other repeatedly:

The tornado sirens went off yesterday afternoon (very strange this late in the year, considering it is the week of Thanksgiving), so we took shelter in their bedroom downstairs to wait out the storm:
Ruby made sure to bring plastic food rations in case the warning became a true emergency:

Playing with their Santa Claus toy sets:
