3 Years, 5 Months, 3 Weeks, and 5 Days

Ruby & Charlotte are 3 years, 5 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days old today. We are in the midst of enjoying early spring weather this week, and continue to go outside each day to bask in the warmth. We spent a good amount of time outdoors last week as well. Enjoy the photos!

We revisited a park that we had not been to since they were babies, and plan to go back often since it has become our favorite place in the area:

Throwing sticks (and one uprooted plant) into the creek to watch them float away:

Ruby found a plant with some red berries:

Charlotte notices the small waterfall at the creek:

Walking through the forest:

Charlotte kept picking up one stick, then tossing it aside in favor of another every few feet:

They ran at full speed when the playground came into view:

Grandpa Jay & Bob spent a lot of time pushing them on the swings:

Ruby swung for over 30 minutes:

Charlotte hung from the monkey bars with Grandpa Jay's assistance:

Ruby ran about chasing the football with Grandpa Jay:

Grandpa Jay and Charlotte ran up a small hill:

We thought this trail looked like a shortcut back to the paved path through the forest:

It was not, so we ended up marching on to find our own way back once it ended:

Crossing the bridge to get back to our cars:
Ava & Jacob came to visit one morning, and the corn table is a favorite:
Trying out new rainbow star sunglasses:
At home, we've gone on a few walks using our neighborhood's nature path through the reserve:

Yesterday thunderstorms stayed to the west of us, letting us enjoy our walk without getting rained on:

Walking the dogs by themselves was the highlight of their day:
