3 Years, 6 Months, 3 Weeks, and 4 Days

Charlotte & Ruby are 3 years, 6 months, 3 weeks, and 4 days old today. Charlotte continues to ask "Why...?" all day long. Ruby had her dental checkup yesterday, and did extremely well by letting the hygienist count her teeth (18 1/2 with one molar halfway through and one more to go), did her first set of x-rays, had her teeth cleaned (she chose cherry flavor since they were out of raspberry), and got a fluoride treatment (she chose blue raspberry flavor). Despite Illinois not being our first choice to live, we continue to find spectacular places to visit around us, like Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL:

They love the stepping stone paths across the Wonder Pond, and both of them submerged a foot in water while playing there:

When it was time to go (we spent 4 hours here), Ruby sat on the ground in the Central Plaza and said that she did not want to leave:

At home, they used new watering cans to water the plants near the porch:

They dyed Easter eggs for the first time:
